9. Book a friendly cheap hotel or rent a department
These website provide you lists of hotels with guests reviews, so let’s search and read it to decide on your hotel ca be a good idea. Booking a cheap hotel does not mean living in a bad or dirty room, but you just need to give up some amenities can save amount of money. Sometimes the hotels in small towns are not a bad choice. If you do not mind 15, 20 minutes walking to the tourist attraction, you may just save that bundle.
10. Looking for deals
Why do not you look for a great deals online? Especially group discount. There are some things you should know that “ Hotels and airlines have a rate they are not publishing publicy and making available to the public, so agencies will combine the two to come up with a really hot deal.
You might by some ticket or package tour with only a half-price. If you travel with your friends or your sweet family, try to get the group discounts. Take advantage of it. What a great way to reduce the spending on vacation.
11. Cut down personal expenses
You know, the best approach for cutting spending is to look for ways to lower that number.
You can save a big amount of money by cutting down some personal expenses like : spa, massage, cigarettes, coffe , energy .. and buying unnecessary things. Just focus on what you have to spend for your vacation. Those personal expenses you can enjoy at home instead of in expensive tourist spots. Using only simple opinion can really open up some breathing room in your budget.
12. Travel in low –season
Everyone is always looking to get away in “peak season” which depend on the place you want to visit. Keep that in mind whenever you are making your destination decision. You would not plan to go swimming in the winter, would you? Let me take a look, in peak season, there is always expensive prices, reduced bargaining and wasted time for long lines and crowded people. If you can avoid it, do not head to somewhere for great festivals ( like Christmas holiday, Tet holiday, National day..) You’d better travel during mid-season and low-season when flights and hotels and many things are much less expensive and crowded. Remember, these period of time might be a good opportunity for you to get the best things of where you plan to visit.
13. Find free service and entertainment
There are always some free service at famous tourist destination around the world. For example, “ Free tour program” at Changi Airport, Singapore is reserved for transit passengers or some free show tickets are given from bars, hotels ; free local museums, galleries and other attractions.
