Trong grotto or Man grotto is situated opposite Trinh Nu grotto. This cave is a statute of a petrified man face turned to Virgin Cave.
Visit Trong Grotto visitors will listen to the legend of this cave and many other legends about Halong bay. That why the local people in Halong considered Trinh Nu grotto and Trong grotto as a symbol of love, a place for the couple vowed for love. And today, whenever the cruise crosses over here, if you listen carefully you’ll hear the dolorous cries of the man resounded around.

KIM QUY GROTTO (GOLDEN TURTLE GROTTO)
Located on the Dam Nam island, where the mount peak gets to 187 meters, covered by the Dam Bac island in the northern and the rear is Soi Sim islands. The cave length is about 100m has a small road leading to the top here water murmuring all four seasons, stalactites are formed from the cave ceiling like a beautiful curtain.
There is a legend about Kim Quy grotto. Once upon a time, the golden turtle helped the King to fight against the invaders, after that he returned to the ocean. On the way to ocean, he arrived Halong and realized that there were so many devils and monsters here. The golden turtle used his remained power to kill them and he exhausted. He found a nice place to lay down and turned into a big grotto.
Hanh grotto is 9km away from Cam Pha town and 20 km away from Bai Chay Wharf. It is the longest and most beautiful grotto in Halong Bay. With the length of 1300m spans over Quang Hanh mountains to the sea.
In order to visit Hanh grotto, visitors have to use a small boat and sail through dangerous cliff edges. The atmosphere in here is so quiet and peaceful that you can even hear the noise of the paddles underneath. With the primitive beauty, Hanh grotto can grap your attention with its epic stalactites and stalagmites.
There is a small temple on the top of the cliff edge. Local people call it “Ba co temple” (The temple of three girls). The legend said that there were three girls came here and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Because of the beautiful scenery, those three girls forgot it’s time to go back home. But it was too late, the tide raised so quickly that they could not find the way to get out of the cave. Those girls passed away and local people built a small temple to tribute them.
ME CUNG GROTTO (MAZE GROTTO)
Away from Ti Top beach 2 km to the southwest, Me Cung grotto is situated on the Lom Bo island at a height of 25m over the sea level.
Pushing into the grotto, tourists feel like walking in a palace of a Persian king. Hearing the murmur from out of nowhere, you think that Scheherazade is telling the stories of the Thousand and One Nights for her king. The Me Cung Grotto has been recognized by archaeologists as one of the vestiges of the pre-Ha Long new Stone Age culture, that existed between 7,000 and 10,000 years ago.
On getting out of the grotto, climb up several stone stairs and look down, you see a large round lake surrounded by the mountain. Its waters is blue all year round. The lake is home to many kinds of fish, shrimps, octopuses, algae, see weed, and coral.
On the island, there are many ancient trees casting long reflections on the water of the bay. They are home to many species of birds and animals (monkeys, chamois and varans).
